DESCRIPTION:CASA Sand Sculpture Artfest\n\n Join us for a day of fun in the sun\, July 8 at Marion's Splash House for our ninth annual event as we raise awareness and funds for CASA of Grant County\, Inc. This event promises to bring out the best in local creativity with a sand sculpture contest open to the public\, local businesses\, and children of all ages.\n\nThe event is FREE to all spectators!\n \nAwards\n\nThere are four awards given at the event:\n\nPEOPLE'S CHOICE: This award is chosen by participant and community voting. Each participant\, spectator and Splash House patron will receive a ticket to vote for their favorite sculpture.\n\nSCHRAMM FAMILY: Chosen by the family of Andy Schramm (for whom this event is held in memory). Will consider attention to detail\, creativity and subject matter and be the personal favorite of the family.\n\nGOLDEN PAIL: Chosen by the CASA Board of Directors. Not based on best\, most detail\, etc. but rather on overall effort and fun during the creative process!\n\nRAISIN' AWARENESS: This award will be given the team chosen to have a sculpture best representing the CASA mission. Chosen by Staff\, Volunteers and Board members of CASA.\n\n\n\nSchedule of Events\n\n9 AM - Registration for building teams begin\n\n10 AM - 3 PM - BUILDING OF SAND SCULPTURES\n\n3 - 4 PM Voting on completed sculptures.\n\nAwards announced immediately following voting.\n\n\n\nAvailable Sponsorships\n\n$150 - receive a space in the sand box to create your own masterpiece. You will have the opportunity to win any of the four awards listed above and delight in knowing your gift is directly used to positively effect the life of an abused or neglected child here in Grant County!\n\n$500 - receive a space in the sand box and also have your company logo listed on CASA's website\, company letterhead\, and in all print ads associated with the event showing that your company believes in helping abused and neglected children in a positive manner!\n\n\n\nCall Leslie at CASA for information.\n\n(765) 664-1891
