On Wed.\, July \;3rd\, \;2019\, the City of Mar\;i\;on will bring back fire\;works in Mat\;ter Park with live music and fes\;tiv\;i\;ties for the whole fam\;i\;ly. The event will begin in and around the Gar\;dens of Mat\;ter Park at \;5pm with a \;DJ\, food and sweet-treat ven\;dors\, and a \;kids&rsquo\; car\;ni\;val with inflat\;able play space and yard games. At \;7pm\, Jessie Brown will kick off live music then join a \;larg\;er group of artists mak\;ing up the band\, \;\;&ldquo\;When Coun\;try Went Pop.&rdquo\; After they end around dusk\, fire\;works will end the night with a \;bang! They will be set off behind the ten\;nis courts.
\n\nMar\;i\;on Tran\;sit will pro\;vide free air-con\;di\;tioned shut\;tle ser\;vice from \;5:30pm until after the fire\;works. They will take patrons from the lot of the old Sears at Five Points Mall into the Gar\;dens entrance.
\n\n&ldquo\;This event gives the com\;mu\;ni\;ty a \;chance to enjoy the ameni\;ties of Mat\;ter Park while pro\;vid\;ing a \;gath\;er\;ing ground to spend time with fam\;i\;ly and friends for the \;\;&lsquo\;4th \;of July&rsquo\;. This year promis\;es to be even bet\;ter with more music \;&\; \;enter\;tain\;ment\, plus food and fire\;works\,&rdquo\; stat\;ed May\;or Jess Alumbaugh.
\n\nThis is a \;free\, fam\;i\;ly-friend\;ly event pro\;vid\;ed by the City of Mar\;i\;on. Enjoy food \;&\; \;drinks from ven\;dors or pack your own pic\;nic. Bring a \;blan\;ket or lawn chairs to com\;fort\;ably enjoy the night. \;Remem\;ber\, per\;son\;al fire\;works includ\;ing sparklers are not allowed in Mat\;ter \;Park.
