GoodwillNext SNAP Employment & Training Launches Customer Service Certification Program

GoodwillNext SNAP Employment & Training is launching a customer service certification program designed to help SNAP-eligible participants build job-ready skills and successfully transition into sustainable employment opportunities. The program provides individualized coaching and support throughout each step of the employment journey.

Participants who have a high school diploma or equivalent and receive SNAP benefits will complete an 8-hour customer service training course focused on workplace communication, professionalism, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills. Upon successful completion of the course, participants earn a customer service certification that prepares them for entry-level employment opportunities across multiple industries.

After earning their certification, participants receive one-on-one career support from a SNAP E&T Coach, including resume development, job search assistance, application support, interview preparation, and employer follow-up. The program is designed to increase confidence, strengthen employability skills, and provide participants with the tools and guidance needed to achieve long-term employment success.
