Leaders Who Cook 2026
For decades, the Historic Hostess House has stood as a gathering place for Grant County—a home for shared meals, weddings, civic milestones, and timeless community traditions.
We are stepping up to the tasting table at LEAD Inc.’s Leaders Who Cook to defend our legacy and rally support for the house we all love.
The Hostess House has a proud tradition at this event: we’ve brought home the championship trophy five times, and placed in the top 5 just last year. But this year, the competition carries special urgency.
Recent water damage inside the historic mansion has left several areas in need of immediate structural and cosmetic repair. As anyone who cares for a historic landmark knows, preserving these spaces takes vigilant work and steady community investment.
100% of every dollar tipped to our station goes directly toward these essential repairs.
Here is how you can help bring the trophy—and the funding—home to 723 West 4th Street:
Tip Our Virtual Tip Jar Today: You don't have to wait for the event to cast your vote. Every dollar acts as a charitable vote to restore the mansion.
