All-City Art Show to feature Marion students’ art, music, drama on May 10-11
The All-City Art Show features work from Marion students at all grade levels. The show will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11. Visitors will enter through the Walton Performing Arts Center, where some of the artwork will be displayed, and continue on into the art hallway to view more displays. Marion’s Junior Olympians perform well
Two Marion High School JROTC cadets recently competed at USA Shooting’s Junior Olympics. Shooting in the International Air category, sophomore Andersson Guevara and freshman Danielle Purdy were among an elite group who qualified to attend the competition held at the Olympic Training Facility in Colorado Springs.
