Taylor University Symphony Orchestra presents "Passport to a Musical Vacation"
The Taylor University Symphony Orchestra is extending a free “Passport to a Musical Vacation” at 7:30 pm in Butz Caruth Recital Hall at Taylor University.
The program will include works that inspire a musical journey from Vienna to Paris to Kenya to Prague and landing here in middle America. A special feature of the concert is the premiere of Overture for Strings by Daniel Morrison, a graduating senior composition major. Other composers we will visit include Mozart, Bizet, and Dvorak.
The public is highly encouraged to take this trip with us across the musical landscapes (and across the ocean).
