Maintenance Laborer, Parks & Recreation Department
The City of Marion is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual for a Parks Department Maintenance Laborer. This is a full-time position with a maximum salary of $41,000.00. Applications/Resumes will be accepted through Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Job Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, performs a wide variety of skilled and unskilled building, mechanical, and grounds tasks to assist in the maintenance of city park property and facilities. Incumbent receives detailed instructions before and during work and follows standardized practices in performing duties.
Qualifications: Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the work of this position; must possess valid Driver’s License.
