Bento selected to fill vacant School Board seat

The Marion Community Schools Board of School Trustees has selected Shanna Bento to fill the vacant District 2 seat.

Bento will serve out the remainder of the seat’s current term, which ends Dec. 31, 2028. She is expected to be sworn in at the next Board meeting, set for Feb. 11.

The School Board and Marion Community Schools thank all of those who submitted their interest in the appointment, and those who participated in the interviews held in a public meeting on Jan. 21. We value our relationship with our families and our community, and we will continue to work together to provide excellent opportunities for our students.
