Gilead Ministries to Host Annual Celebration Golf Scramble on August 14

Support local cancer patients and their families while enjoying a day on the golf course at the Gilead Ministries Celebration Golf Scramble on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Arbor Trace Golf Club in Marion.

The event features two flights at 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with BBQ ribs lunch included for participants. Golfers can register for $50 per player ($200 per team) through July 31. Beginning August 1, registration increases to $75 per player. Golfers also have the option to play both flights for $375.

Players will compete for cash prizes, including $200 for first place, $150 for second, and $100 for third, along with multiple hole prizes, door prizes, and complimentary food and drinks throughout the day.

Businesses and community members can also support the event through sponsorship opportunities. Hole sponsorships are available for $100, or three hole sponsors for $250. Special golf and sponsorship packages are also available, combining team registrations with hole sponsorships at a discounted rate.

Proceeds benefit Gilead Ministries, whose mission is to provide emotional support to individuals and families facing life-threatening illnesses through hands-on service projects, encouraging cards, comforting phone calls, and other compassionate outreach.
