Greater Grant County Announces Hiring of Director of Workforce Development 

Grant County, IN – Greater Grant County is pleased to announce the hiring of Shelby Schuh as its new Director of Workforce Development. In this role, Shelby will lead initiatives to strengthen connections between local businesses, schools, and community organizations, ensuring a strong talent pipeline for the region’s workforce. 

With a background in organizational development, employee engagement, and executive coaching, Shelby brings a wealth of experience to this newly created position. Her work will focus on expanding workforce development initiatives in Grant County and guiding students towards meaningful local careers. 

“Shelby is the perfect addition to our team as we continue to bridge the gap between the workforce of today and the workforce of the future in Grant County,” said Kylie Jackson, President/CEO of Greater Grant County. “Her expertise and passion for career readiness will be instrumental in driving workforce initiatives that benefit both our businesses and our community.” 

In the coming months, Schuh will work closely with employers, educators, and local leaders to develop systems that equip students and job seekers with the skills needed for success in today’s workforce. She will also help businesses build sustainable talent pipelines and navigate workforce challenges.
