YOU’RE INVITED: McCulloch Junior High to celebrate 100th birthday

McCulloch Junior High School is celebrating its 100th birthday!

The school is planning a community celebration and family night starting at 5 p.m. Nov. 14, 100 years almost to the day from when classes were first held in the building. A birthday celebration from 5 to 6 p.m. is open to all, followed by family night activities from 6 to 7 p.m. (There will also be a boys basketball game vs. Kokomo starting at 6 p.m., and all are welcome to come cheer on the McCulloch Giants!)

Highlights of the evening will include:

• Band and choir performances

• Drone and robotics demonstrations

• MJH dance club performance

• Marion Public Library activities

• Academic activities

• Light refreshments

• Giveaways and prizes
