MCS welcomes Mealy as district CFO
Marion Community Schools is pleased to welcome Kyle Mealy as its Chief Financial Officer.
Mealy is an experienced school and district administrator with expertise in finance, operations, and strategic planning. He has been in education for more than 20 years. He committed to fiscally responsible, student-centered solutions, and he looks forward to supporting continued success at Marion Community Schools.
MCS Superintendent Stephanie Lockwood said she looks forward to Mealy’s leadership in the District Business Office.
“We are happy to welcome Kyle Mealy to Marion Community Schools,” Lockwood said. “His wide range of experiences as an educational leader will bring valuable perspective to our district financial management.”
Mealy earned his educational degrees from Ball State University, including his bachelor’s degree in visual arts education, his master’s in school administration and supervision, his education specialist degree in school superintendency, and he is currently enrolled in BSU’s doctor of education program. He also holds a chief business officer certification from the Indiana Association of School Business Officials.
His start date is set for March 31, immediately after MCS's spring break.
