This limited-edition set will undoubtedly be a hit with Giants fans, said Mark Fauser, Creative Development Director for Marion Community Schools, who has been helping to lead the project.
"Robert and his team at Panini outdid themselves with these gorgeous cards,” Fauser said. “If you like basketball, history, the Marion Giants, or are a collector like me, I would strongly recommend you get to the Bill Green Arena early on Feb. 20! These cards are sure to be a valuable collector's item. Thanks to Courtney, Gorman & Bunch, and Robert and Panini for this exciting gift to Marion fans!”
And to make the night even more special, there will be legends in the house, including Dave Colescott, Jeff Todd, James Blackmon, and Kyle Persinger to name a few, for those who may be looking for autograph opportunities. We’ll also have special guests here too, including Bill Green’s family and the grandson of 1926 State Champion Coach Eugene Thomas, who is flying in from New Mexico to be a part of this special event.
