News Release: 11/6/2024

Eighty8 Entertainment has announced their newest radio station, Radio Classics.  Radio Classics will play music from 1954 to 2000.  Their slogan of Your Music, Your mixtape gives listeners of music a wide variety of artists from The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and so much more.
Radio Classics will feature a local morning talk show on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday called Let’s Talk.  The host will be Steve Wright.  This show will feature local conversations with Marion and Grant County leaders, including Mayor Ronald Morrell Jr, Gas City Mayor Bill Rock, City Council members, School Superintendents, and more.
Owner, Andy McCord said “Grant County is suffering from a news desert.  We want to be the oasis in the desert and provide Grant County and the surrounding areas with local news and information and feel that Steve and the morning show will do just that.”  McCord added “News has become opinion no matter what side of the aisle you sit on.  We will provide facts and information and let the public decide for themselves.  We will not be ambulance chasers and will not focus on any drama but focus on facts.”
Radio Classics will officially begin on November 11th.  You can find Radio Classics on line at radioclassics.live and from there download the FREE smartphone app.  You can also use your Alexa by saying “Alexa, enable Radio Classics dot live skill”
Radio Classics is the 6th overall station in the Eighty8 family joining, Gospel Praise Radio, Radio 80s, The Boot, Action Sports Network, and Holly Jolly Radio.
