FREE Craft Day will be held from 1-3 p.m. in First UMC newly renovated Annex Building. This month we will have an array of supplies from past events, so come by and let your craft creative flow. FREE FAMILY & KIDS EXPO will be hosted by First United Methodist Church, partnering with local community resources on Saturday, August 1st from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Families can enjoy face painting, games, sno-cones, hot dogs, popcorn, and plenty of opportunities to learn about the organizations that are here to support them. Mayor Ronald Morrell will join us, along with Thriving Grant County's GROW Mobile Unit, Officer “Johnny Law” from the Marion Police Department, Marion Health (offering a baby-changing station), Radiant Health, Connections of Grant County, Family Resource Center, Project Leadership, Scholar House, Community School of the Arts, Bridges to Health, Meals on Wheels, Marion Community Schools and more. On Saturday, September 12th, The Herbst United Methodist Annual Tenderloin dinner will be from 4-7 p.m. There will be sit-down dining in Fellowship Hall and Take-Out from the Narthex. We will be hand-breading our Tenderloin and will also have our Broasted Potato Wedges, along with Cole Slaw, Apple Sauce, Chips, Tea, Lemonade, Coffee, Water and Soft Serve Ice Cream! Cost per ticket is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12. This event helps Herbst UMC missions and ministry. Please buy your tickets now and come to visit for great food and fellowship.
