Position Summary
The Impact Coordinator will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with local nonprofit partners, community organizations, schools, and libraries. This role focuses heavily on youth literacy and education initiatives, supporting our mission to create a healthier, more resilient community. The Impact Coordinator will also support United Way events and manage data collection to measure our community impact goals.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Partnerships • Build and maintain relationships with local nonprofits, schools, libraries, and community partners. • Stay informed about programs offered by local organizations and help connect individuals with appropriate services. • Represent United Way on local committees and coalitions focused on serving the community.

Literacy & Education Initiatives • Support and actively engage with the Grant County Literacy Taskforce. • Assist in implementing initiatives to improve youth literacy and education outcomes. • Promote and support the Imagination Library Program by managing registrations, verifying information, and attending community events to increase awareness. 

Event Support • Help coordinate and support key United Way events, including: • BLOOM Women’s Leadership Event • Day of Action (community-wide day of service) • Attend and promote United Way initiatives at community events and outreach activities.
Data Management & Reporting • Collect, manage, and report data relevant to United Way’s impact goals: Healthy Community, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, & Community Resiliency. • Track outcomes to ensure programs and initiatives meet their objectives.

Qualifications & Skills Education: College degree preferred but not required. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace). • Comfort with data entry, reporting, and program management. Preferred Traits: Passion for community service, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
