Grant County YMCA Names Myers New CEO
GRANT COUNTY YMCA NAMES ADAM MYERS AS NEW CEO
Myers Brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the community to the role
Marion, Indiana November 18, 2024— The Grant County Family YMCA has named Adam Myers as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2, 2025. Selected by the Y’s Board of Directors following an extensive search, Myers will succeed Charlie Myers who stepped down in September 2024. In his new role Myers will be responsible for fulfilling the strategic vision and goals of the board of directors, which includes an additional Grant County Facility in Gas City.
Susan Reese, board president of the Grant County Family YMCA, states, “The Grant County Family YMCA is thrilled to welcome Adam Myers to lead our team. His unwavering commitment to this community and faith development in athletics is a perfect fit for our members, staff, board and our future. We are excited for his vision and things to come.”
Myers states, "I am excited to step into this new role as the CEO of the Grant County Family YMCA. The YMCA has a rich history in this community, and I look forward to making a continued impact.”
Myers is a graduate of Huntington University and brings experience in nonprofit
management with previous roles at Youth for Christ, the Grant County Boys and Girls Club and Indiana Wesleyan University. He and his family have resided in Marion for many years, and look forward to continuing to engage in the local community.
