Marion High School Joins Rural Early College Network

Marion High School joins Rural Early College Network   Marion Community Schools is pleased to announce that Marion High School is joining the Rural Early College Network. The Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning at the University of Indianapolis has selected MHS as a partner school in the Rural Early College Network 2.0.  Through this program, funded by a $10 million education innovation and research grant from the U.S. Department of Education, CELL will help 20 rural high schools implement

IUK Offers College Prep Camp June 9-13

PRESS RELEASE IUK offers college prep camp for Marion Community Schools Middle school students from Marion will get an inside look at college life, at Indiana University Kokomo’s free Ignite Your Future camp June 9-13. Brandi Keith, adjunct professor of sociology and student success, said incoming sixth and seventh graders from the Marion Community Schools will participate in on campus activities June 9-12, followed by a field trip in their community on June 13. Their goal is for students to start
